This place is really magical! We stayed here for night and it was good decision! Mr Vieng is nice guy and he can tell you a lot of about coffee and other plants in his country. He also told us a lot about his ethnic group Katu and it was so interesting! Highly recommended to stay overnight!

We did the 15:30 tour after having some vegetable fried rice and coffee (both were delicious). Mr Vieng is so nice and knowledgeable about farming and culture. Be brave and try the ants because they really do taste like lemons!

Beyond a friendly family! He was my first stop on the Pakse loop and ended up being one of my best experiences after a month backpacking through Laos. Speaks great English so it was such a treat to learn so much about his local culture, farming, garment weaving, coffee, and anything else that comes to mind. His entire family was so friendly and was a great way to spend a lunch/afternoon on the Pakse loop. A must do on the loop and not worth skipping!

Mr. Vieng helped us out with a place to sleep, a great dinner and breakfast! He was a really friendly host, arranging late dinner and early breakfast to fit our plans. The showers aren't the best but for us it was enough. Ask for availability with his WhatsApp number.

Where to start. I met him during a touristic visit which were super interesting, about how the coffee trees need to be taken care of, how the grains are selected etc but also about many other usefull herbs plants and trees. But my special connection with Mr Vieng coming from his kindness. He hosted me one night when his homestay was supposed to be closed when I needed it the most. A true good person. All the best to you and your family.

Mr Vieng’s tour was informative and interesting. He took us around his coffee farm and showed us so many interesting things, from eating red ants, to smoking with a banana leaf. We all got bracelets that were hand made and the coffee, of course, was delicious.

Mr Vieng's coffee plantation tour is the highlight of the Bolaven Plateau loop in my opinion. I really enjoyed the tour, his explanations, jokes etc , and had such a good time there. The coffee and the food was super nice and the restaurant looks beautiful. Very touristy in a good way. I highly recommend doing the tour!!!

I did not stay at the homestay. I drank 3 (!) cups of different kinds - freshly brewed with a percolator - of coffee which were delicious (20.000 a cup) I also did the plantation tour, which I liked a lot. A combination of a little Katu culture insight, local nature exploration and of course information about the coffee growing process. I loved the atmosphere all together, I had a very relaxed 2+ hours break and it's a great place to unwind.
